A CNN poll of the real world outside the internet shows 7 million Hillary supporters not voting for Obama (3 million of them voting for McCain).

Now here’s a story about one of them, a non-internet person (posted at h44):

OK, I sent my letter to CREW. Now, I just have to share this.
An old, old Jewish guy, grandfather of a friend, who heard us talking on the phone and couldn’t resist, once again, taking the phone out of her hand to give me his take on our conversation. It went something like this:

“Racist, schmasist, who the hell cares? The way they’re using that word, it’s meaningless. They made it meaningless! Call me a window fan if it pleases you, you still don’t get my vote!
And another thing, why do the AA’s think it’s so important to vote for this half-white man raised in Indonesia and Hawaii? Ridiculous! This whole thing is ridiculous! He’s another bungler who can’t think straight – like that addle-brained bungler we got in the White House now! Both of them air-heads, in love with themselves, propped up by God knows who! For what reasons! Money! Do they care what happens to this country? Hah! They don’t remember all the rich guys who jumped out the windows on Wall Street when the country went into the great depression.
Meanwhile, waiting in the wings, we got a woman at least as smart and strong as Eleanor Roosevelt, Golda Meir, in fact, and I’ll say it, she’s smarter and better able to lead the world than anybody living – maybe even than dead! You know what I’m gonna do? I’m gonna vote for all the damned Republicans –- you know why? Because I love the Democratic Party like it used to be, and I want to see it get cleaned up even if I don’t live long enough! The way it is now they’re a lot of spineless connivers! They stand for nothing! Nothing! Listen, I’ll tell you something else….” Finally, I got a word in, “Have you heard about PUMA?”
