Sarah Palin - McCain’s VP = GAME CHANGER!!

No one was more disappointed than I was that Obama passed up the opportunity to make history twice by choosing Hillary Clinton for VP, the OBVIOUS choice. And the one that deserved it most.

He did not do this.

After all the fabulous speeches and yes, they were good.

Hillary’s speech was brilliant, Bill’s speech was fantastic and even Obama’s speech was Good I thought.

But - McCain choosing Sarah Palin for Vice President!!! WOW!! THAT is a CHANGE!!!

THIS IS A GAME CHANGER.

He WILL syphon off WOMEN from the democratic party who feel VERY disenfranchised by the treatment of Hillary Clinton.

After Obama’s speech last night, I was certain HE would be the next President.

I’ve changed my mind. The Democrats NEED women to win.

THIS selection was a GAME CHANGER.

I now believe McCain has put himself out there and shown he is a Maverick and not your average Republican.

Howard Wolfson on Fox News is now saying “Alot of Hillary Clinton supporters are going to be asking themselves WHY Hillary Clinton was not chosen for VP.  Her supporters will be giving this ticket a  second look.”

Wolfson continues “Obviously this is a pick to go after the 18 million votes that Hillary Clinton received, both Obama and McCain need those votes to win the election.

OBAMA BLEW IT by passing up Hillary Clinton for VP - HE cost the DEMOCRATS This election!!!

  2. I don’t know what with people and speeches. you talk to an obama fan and will not be able to come up with one reason why he should be the president other that speeches he read from telepromtor. Bill Clinton as brilliant as he is, if it was just talk and that all he did I would have felt differently about him. My cases against Obama only increased after he accepting a nomination he knows he got it via fraudlent means. He did not earn nor he deserve it. I hope to God people realize that sooner that later.

  3. How exciting!!! McCain/Palin 08!! Hillary 012!!

  4. I am sooooooo excited about this redemption and game changer! Eat your heart out Obama!

  5. How about the demeaning press release from camp Obama? No class!

  6. I just heard her speak, she honored Hillary and her 18 million voters! Hillary will always be my first choice but since Dems took that choice away from me for 08, I will be voting for McCain/Palin 08. Dem Leaders, you blew it big time!

  7. I agree hill4pres… If BO’s ego hadn’t gotten in the way, and Hillary was his VP…it would have been a landslide win for the Dems…

    Nobama

    McCain/Palin08

  8. I like this choice. I like it a lot.

  9. All the more reason to vote McCain. Obama blew it by not puting Hillary on the ticket. Instead he chose Biden, who tends to mouth off, and this is not going to bode well in the months ahead for the Chosen One. I did not listen to that spectacle last night from Denver, but before I turned it off I felt I should give one of those arm raised, fist salutes towards the “Chosen One”–give me a break–I couldn’t believe that he chose such a huge place for his speech–Honor Me–I Am the One!!

  10. No Way, No How, Nobama

    McCain/Palin 08
    Hillary 2012.

So much for Obama’s dog and pony show last night, it’s all forgotten about with the news of a woman VP candidate for McCain.
    Obama…stick it, you’re done!!

Denver is a mile high city, maybe “The Chosen One” felt closer to…well, in his narcissistic mind anyway.

  11. Since I did not see my post about Palin, from a statement sent out by the president of the Defenders of Wildlife I’ll post it again. If there is a reason you are not posting it, please let me know.

    Shocking Choice by John McCain

WASHINGTON– Senator John McCain just announced his choice for running mate: Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska. To follow is a statement by Rodger Schlickeisen, president of Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund.

“Senator McCain’s choice for a running mate is beyond belief. By choosing Sarah Palin, McCain has clearly made a decision to continue the Bush legacy of destructive environmental policies.

“Sarah Palin, whose husband works for BP (formerly British Petroleum), has repeatedly put special interests first when it comes to the environment. In her scant two years as governor, she has lobbied aggressively to open up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling, pushed for more drilling off of Alaska’s coasts, and put special interests above science. Ms. Palin has made it clear through her actions that she is unwilling to do even as much as the Bush administration to address the impacts of global warming. Her most recent effort has been to sue the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to remove the polar bear from the endangered species list, putting Big Oil before sound science. As unbelievable as this may sound, this actually puts her to the right of the Bush administration.

“This is Senator McCain’s first significant choice in building his executive team and it’s a bad one. It has to raise serious doubts in the minds of voters about John McCain’s commitment to conservation, to addressing the impacts of global warming and to ensuring our country ends its dependency on oil.”

  12. By the way corkie, she is no dummy and has been keeping the various conversationists in a tizzy with her moves and denials. But stupid, she is not. This has been going on since she became governor.

  13. Obama always plays it two ways:

    1) my campaign goes on the attack

    and then,

    2) I (Obama) claim to take the high road and smooth it all over with high-blown rhetoric.

[and this is how he proceeded against Clinton!!!]

Then add his “gaffs” about the “typical white person who clings to their guns and religion” and his pastor and his Bill Ayer’s connection and and …where Obama gives excuses like “it was a boneheaded thing to do”…equivocate equivocate…

A true believer suspends their ability to critically think. I AM a Democrat, and all I see is mendacity and politics as usual, i.e. all the talk about change is a farce, but no one cares about a person’s affiliation with hatred and violence. To prove my point will be all those who respond to my comment with vituperation sans argument.
