the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging
Senator Obama’s eligibility to serve as President of the United
States, has received confirmation from his Process Service Company
that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Senator Barack Obama
were served today, September 4, 2008, with the legal documents
pertaining to Berg vs. Obama, Civil Action No. 08-cv-4083. The DNC was
served at 12:00 p.m. and Senator Obama was served at 1:00 p.m. The
U.S. Attorney’s Office accepted service on behalf of
the Federal Elections Committee (FEC) on or about August 22, 2008.

I’m not a lawyer, I only pretend to be one on tv
I work IN law, as an investigator and paralegal. Sometimes I go to court WITH the lawyer as an assistant.
Someitmes I even go without the lawyer
What it means that “they served Obama and the DNC”.
A “complaint” written in a certain way was made by Berg and presented to the Federal Judge in Pennsylvania.
The Federal Judge had to decide if it was a good case or not. The Federal Judge decided most of it was a reasonable case. So he gave permission by signing to “serve” the written complaint papers on Obama and the DNC in Washington DC.
Those papers were served today as was said above. The man or woman who served those documents has to make out a paper that swears he served the papers on so and so, and he has to give a description of the person, and the address and so on.
Now Obama gets a chance to answer Mr Berg’s written complaint, but he has to send the answer (by his lawyer) to the Federal Judge in Pennsylvania. If he had nothing to hide , he would produce all the papers that the complaint asks be shown to the Judge.
Since we know that Obama is hiding something it is very doubtful he will be a stand up guy and instead argue why he shouldn’t answer or he will stall, hoping that he can stall until after the election and that he will win the election, because he knows once he has been elected, the Courts would be unlikely to take the election away from him.
However, this is going to be a very unusual election. And it is mostly the women/the people who are going to make it unusual. The public is in revolt. So there is always the chance that for a first time in history, even if he does win by falsehood, a Court may just do justice and not allow him to assume the Presidency.
It’s rare for a Federal Court case to move quickly. Lawyers can stall things by argung in writing
this and that, or a certificate of live birth is just as good as a vaulted birth certificate and so on.
I think Berg would have asked for a “fast track” on this case, but 2 months is no time at all for a Federal Court.
Because I think Obama is going to try to stall until after the elections it could drag on and on, unless the Judge is a hardnose and won’t allow it. For once in my life I’d like to see a judge be a hardnose
If Obama succeeds in any way, it could end up changing the Constitution, gawdfubid, allowing non born on the USA land to become president.
I think he would be charged with a slew of Federal crimes if he did become president. I wouldn’t mind impeachment.
I REAlly think that if they pulled obama out of the race and replaced him With Hillary, i still would have to vote MCCAIN!! I Have lost faith in her! She gave up too easily! She didnt foght for what was HERS!!!
DonnaMohler, I’m not sure I understand you. Hillary has fought for the average people all her life. When she says 35 years of experience, it’s actually more like 40. Her accomplishments for the progressive cause are real unlike that of Obama who has a speech. Hillary did everything she could until June 3rd. When she won Puerto Rico primary by a landslide, the SDs should have decided that she is our candidate. It’s their fault. In whatever way she had fought she would still end up short of the required delegates as the Dean/Pelosi/Reid corrupt DNC machine has decided to annoint the empty suit.
It’s better for her to fight from within. Now she knows that Obama would be toast in November, the DNC will have a house cleaning. Dean will go back to Vermont, Obama thugs will hang their heads and pack up and leave. The party will have a better chance of becoming a Democratic party once again precisely because Hillary and Bill are still there.
If Obama is disqualified, as he should be, and IF Hillary replaces him, I’d vote for and work for her to become the next president. Until then,
it’s McCain/Palin 2008, and
Hillary 2012.

I’d rather her go back to the Senate and stay away from this sinking ship…she deserves a break.

Given all the corruption for which the Obam party is responsible, I really wonder if there were back room “deals”: intimidation, threats, blackmail, etc. I have a hard time believing that the Clinton’s “sold out.” …guess I’m not that cynical. YET.
Hillary Clinton is the best candidate for President that this country has to offer. I think she did what she finally had to do by dropping out of the race and releasing her delegates. I do not understand what else people wanted her to do, but she did the only right thing she could possibley do at the time.
There is no comparison between Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin. I wouldn’t even go there. And I certainly would vote for Hillary again, no matter what ticket she was on.
As for Obama, if his birth certificate is a phony, he deserves to be thrown off the ticket. The last time I looked, the POTUS had to be born in the United States, or born of parents who were citizens. Somehow, I don’t think that means Indonesia!! There is something not right about Obama–I wish someone would find it. I am sure the Republicans are doing their homework right now!! Let’s home they come up with a “goodie” before November–doesn’t the Rev. Jeremiah Wright have a book coming out next month?

If that’s what you really think, then A. you haven’t payed close enough attention, so don’t have a clue what went on at that convention…or B. you were really NOT a Hillary supporter to begin with!

If he did get thrown off the ticket, would it even go to Hillary? Or would the dems give it to Biden and let him pick a running mate?
I kind of agree that she may have given up too quickly. Couldn’t she have pulled a Lieberman and run for President as an Independent? If nothing else, that would have ensured an Obama defeat and, more importantly FORCED a shake-up in the Democratic party.

The poll today shows Bullwinkle/Biden and McCain/Mooseburger running neck to neck. But the Dems. would be winning if Hilliary Clinton was on the ticket.
The Clintons knew that they would never get the black vote after the smear. She ran out of money and they didnt get ANY press except bad press. MSM and the DNC booted her out.
Her AA supporters were upset too. They had been loyal to the end, and they felt it was the end. It’s alot easier to say she gave up to easily…than to fight the way Hillary was fighting.
IMO, Hillary is a fighter and she had hardly any support that o got from the press, msm, dnc, and organizations that she expected to have. It was a joke. Hillary didnt quit. Clintons are not quitters. They arent stupid either. IMO, anyone who says that they wouldnt vote for HRC because she gave up too easily, I dont believe you were for Hillary ever.
If the Republicans win the election, it will be because of Sarah. For this reason, neither one of the major parties will ever run an all male ticket again!
